Wenn ich durch den Sucher blicke, nehme ich die Welt intensiver wahr. Ich verschmelze mit dem Motiv, fokussiere mich mit aller Aufmerksamkeit darauf – eine Symbiose entsteht zwischen mir und dem Bild. In dem Moment, in dem ich den Auslöser drücke, existiere nur noch ich und dieser eine Moment. Ich bin Teil des Bildes.

Ein großes Privileg des Fotografen ist, dass ich diese Momente beim späteren Betrachten fast genau so wieder erleben kann. Jedes Bild ist eine Zeitreise, ein eingefrorener Augenblick voller Emotionen.

Seit fünf Jahren fotografiere ich mit voller Leidenschaft – experimentell, suchend, spielerisch. Ich probiere mich in nahezu allen Bereichen der Fotografie aus: von Architektur über Natur, Tiere und Landschaften bis zur Makrofotografie.

Von Beruf bin ich interventioneller Radiologe. In beiden Welten – Medizin und Fotografie – geht es um denselben Kern: Präzision, das Erkennen von Details, den richtigen Blick im richtigen Moment. Als Arzt suche ich nach dem, was im Verborgenen liegt. Als Fotograf suche ich nach dem Besonderen, das sich erst im richtigen Licht oder der richtigen Perspektive offenbart oder nach dem Offensichtlichen, das danach strebt, künstlerisch eingebettet zu werden.

Ich lebe mit meiner Familie in Leipzig. Fotografie ist für mich Ausgleich, Meditation und künstlerischer Ausdruck zugleich – die Kunst, die Welt anders zu interpretieren und diese Sicht zu teilen.

When I look through the viewfinder, I perceive the world more intensely. I merge with the subject, focusing all my attention on it – a symbiosis emerges between me and the image. In the moment I press the shutter, only I and this one moment exist. I become part of the picture.
A great privilege of being a photographer is that I can relive these moments almost exactly when viewing them later. Each image is a time travel, a frozen moment full of emotions.

For five years, I have been photographing with full passion – experimentally, searching, playfully. I explore nearly every area of photography: from architecture to nature, animals, and landscapes, to macro photography.
By profession, I am an interventional radiologist. In both worlds – medicine and photography – it's about the same core: precision, recognizing details, the right perspective at the right moment. As a physician, I search for what lies hidden. As a photographer, I search for the extraordinary that only reveals itself in the right light or from the right perspective.
I live with my family in Leipzig. Photography is balance, meditation, and artistic expression for me all at once – the art of interpreting the world differently and sharing this vision.
